We’re Nick and Femi, mental health nurses with over a decade of experience in mental health.
After our time on The Amazing Race (go Team Psych Nurses!), we turned our full focus to fixing some of the biggest issues in the mental health system: long wait times, high costs, and people ending up with the wrong psychologist for their needs.

Are the psychologists registered?
Yes all our Registered, Clinical and Provisional psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are selected by Recharge Wellness.
How does it work?
Your first session with the psychologist will be bulk billed with a valid Mental Health Care Plan. If you then decide to continue seeing your psychologist, you will then be charged the standard fee with eligible medicare rebates.
how much does it cost?
First Session is $0* (bulk billed) with a valid mental health care plan.
For subsequent sessions:
-General Psychologist = $225.00 or $126.05 after Medicare rebate
- Clinical Psychologist = $273.00 or $127.75 after Medicare rebate
- Provisional Psychologist = $131.25 not eligible for Medicare rebate
do i need a mental health care plan?
You don't need a a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to see a psychologist. However it does entitle you to receive Medicare rebates, making therapy more affordable.
We do have GPs at our clinic that we can connect you with at no cost, if you would like to get a MHCP.
